John L. Bell, we are reliably told, is the most popular speaker in the festival that is Greenbelt’s history and we are pleased to announce that he will be making a special appearance at thePROJECT:2, ‘ In The Flesh’, leading a workshop called ‘10 Things They Never Told Me About Jesus‘.

John L. Bell  is a member of the Wild Goose Resource Group, a co-leader of Holy City, the monthly ecumenical worship & workshop event in Glasgow, a member of the Iona Community, an ordained minister, author, composer and occasional broadcaster, who lectures and preaches across the globe. He was born withing sniffing distance of the Johnny Walker whisky distillery and has a penchant for the People’s Friend,  red Doc Martens and immobile phones. He once accused the General Assembly of the Church Of Scotland of ‘pissing on the roses’ and was the first, and only, student Rector of Glasgow University in 1867.
