thePROJECT:2, ‘In The Flesh’, Saturday 20th June, Edinburgh.

… at not one, not two, but three locations in Auld Reekie!

12-4.30pm, gathering, workshops, doing creative stuff, outdoor activity (weather permitting), music, discussion.

@ The Lot, 4-6 Grassmarket, Edinburgh, EH1 2JU

The Lot has been widely praised for its funky ambience and delightful, traditional Edinburgh charm

The venue is a beautiful multi-function space situated in a recent Church conversion. Boasting a stunning wooden floor, natural light and magnificent facilities, the LOT is the perfect space for the presentation of music, dance and other forms of creative and artistic expression.

12-7pm: gathering, workshops, worship, bring your own food and eat together.

@ St Columba’s-by-the-Castle, 14 Johnston Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EL

The church and hall were built in the 1840’s to serve the people of Edinburgh’s Old Town. In 1998 the building was renovated to provide space for community use.

http://stcolumbasbythecastle.org.uk/main/

7pm-1am: music & performances.

@ Pleasance Cabaret Bar, 60 Pleasance, Edinburgh, EH8 9TJ

Pleasance Edinburgh opened as part of the 1985 Festival Fringe with two theatres facing onto a deserted courtyard-come-car-park at an unfashionable eastern end of Edinburgh’s old town. Twenty-five seasons later the Pleasance has become one of the biggest and most highly respected venues at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with an international profile and a network of alumni that reads like a Who’s Who of contemporary comedy, drama and entertainment.

(Pleasance website)
